We're curating movies from different cinema movements, eleborate on their cultural meaning and connect them to their political, historical and sociological context.

Our goal is to bring meaningful cinematic experiences to you. Films that really move you and provoke thought. We welcome discussions and the transfer of ideas and emotions. In times of AI generated media/mainstream media/social media, our senses are numbed and long for more meaningful stimuli; things that truly make us think and- hopefully- feel something...

About us? We are Wouter and Eser. 

Two wandering souls who connected through cinema twelve years ago. We'd stray through Amsterdam's underground cinemas, where we broadened, deepened and widened our interests. So much so that for the past three years we've been bringing our world to Zaal100- and now are bringing it to Supermercator.
